About

We at Rurik Fightgear® are proud to present you with the finest modern-day Varangian fighting gear!

Like the great East Vikings of old on their journeys, we too aim to bring forth the finest quality craftsmanship, the fiercest opposition in the face of hardship, and the never-ending hunger for adventure.

From the cold wastes emerged a defiant nature and stubborn attitude that forged the archetype of the Nordic warrior. This barbarian legacy is what Rurik Rurik Fightgear® stands for.

Rurik Fightgear® band of brothers comes from a variety of long lineages and old-school traditions within the hard-hitting side of martial arts.

The experience and wisdom gained through lifetimes of fighting, coaching, and working in the equipment industry have been brought together to offer our knowledge and craftsmanship to those who share the fellowship — those few who wish to honour the traditions and have what it takes to prove their mettle.

We are based in the Greater Helsinki area of Finland. Our retail point of sale is located approximately 20 km from Helsinki city centre.
